Expert in the field of transport processes management control and operations. The author of about 200 scientific works and textbooks (e.g., "Railway Stations and Junctions", "Logistics in Transport (Railway)") and study aids ("Designing of Railway Sections’ Stations", "Locomotive Performance Operation", "General Course of Railways") for students of transport universities. Honoured Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation; awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
